Systems Engineer Our company is a growing IT provider based in San Diego. We are looking for an experienced VOIP Engineer for our small to medium business clients. We are looking for an Engineer that is well versed with a strong networking and systems background with a strong emphasis in Trixbox/Fonality implementations. We implement and manage Fonality's PBXtra or Trixbox Pro solutions and require 4+ years of experience with this product line or similar. Responsibilites include but are not limited to: Creating solutions and specifications for new and existing implementations of VOIP technologies, incorporating infrastructure of L2/L3 switching protocols. Experience in WAN configurations and site to site connectivity with a strong background in troubleshooting and implementing VOIP performance for remote users and multi-site connectivity This person must be well versed in configuring basic and advanced setups for network appliances such as Sonicwall NSA/TZ products including Quality of Service and Bandwidth Management Background and experience in coordinating and directing ISP's for MPSL, managed VPN, failover and routing protocols is a must Configuring basic and advanced call routing, call menus, queues, DID numbers, schedules, users with multiple extensions, and Find Me, Follow Me using Trixbox is a must This person should know the different product lines of Polycom phones as well as be well versed in the different features of all Trixbox versions from Call Center Edition to Enterprise, etc. Must have experience with site linking software and the inner workings and user interface of HUD for training and implementation Comfortable configuring groups and group permissions. Requirements: Experience with Windows Server is a must, specifically with DHCP and DNS configurations as it pertains to VOIP integration. Experience managing and implementing Cisco Switching, unity or Unity Express a plus. Strong Linux background a plus. SIP/PRI/Utilizing FXS ports for paging, etc. a plus. Compensation: 50-65k depending on experience
