Qualifications:

Requires Bachelor’s degree (in computer Science or Management Information Systems) or equivalent, and two to four years of related (data center environment) experience. The successful candidate requires five years experience in network adminsitration including SIPRNET and experience with secure data communications including, and not limited, to e-mail and Hypertext Transfer and Hypertext Transfer Secure Protocols (HTTP/HTTPS) and satellite communications. Five years of experience in the field of Information Technology, experience with one project within the last three years, and Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification are also required. Experience with KG-175 Taclane-encrypted, virtual private networks (VPN) and US Navy or MSC shipboard IT systems and MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or Solaris certification(s) are desired.Experience with KG-175 Taclane-encrypted, virtual private networks (VPN) and US Navy or MSC shipboard IT systems and MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or Solaris certification(s) are desired.
