What would you be doing?
As our client's Software Configuration Engineer, you would serve as the company's key developer for SCM and Build Engineering across multiple software environments. Your responsibilities would include:
**Supporting the Change/Release/Build Management and **Administration process
**Compiling code and maintaining development and test code baselines
**Designing, developing and maintaining build/deployment applications and engines as needed
**Providing support during Release and Deployment stages as needed

We're looking for a seasoned SCM developer with experience in multiple environments to join a successful and rapidly growing team. Here are a few things we're seeking in the ideal candidate:
**Demonstrated success implementing SCM processes and tools in both web-based and client server environments
**Experience creating and customizing build automations tools in both UNIX and Windows NT and XP environments
**Knowledge in customizing SCM tools to reflect a process workflow - creating and maintaining User exits and triggers, user roles and a notification mechanism
**Strong proficiency in both UNIX and Windows environments
**Bachelor's degree
**Solid understanding of configuration management principles and best practices would be appreciated
**UNIX Shell scripting skill is a plus
**Knowledge of or familiarity with Telelogic SYNERGY preferred
