Provide full support to and under the direction of a Physical Therapist in the full spectrum of physical rehabilitative services including support of inpatients, outpatients and specialized studies (EMG, hydrotherapy etc).

Perform daily maintenance and quality control on all equipment used. Evaluates equipment operation and recognizes when calibration, adjustment, or repairs are required.

Maintain records of quality control and instrument maintenance for all procedures performed.

Observe patients during treatments and compile and evaluate data on patients' responses to treatments and progress and report orally or in writing to the physical therapist.

Assist in escorting patients to programs and other areas on the hospital as directed.

Duties.

Requirements:

Possess and maintain a current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Possess 1 year of full-time experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant within the preceding 3 years in a clinical setting of similar size and complexity.
