Job Description:
As a Staff Database Administrator with Clients IT department, you will provide leadership, team vision and direction in the appropriate application of database techniques to meet corporate information requirements. Working with other DBAs, you will consult, advise and lead in the execution of technical activities.

Responsibilities:
Administration of Oracle 11gR2 RAC (ASM storage) on both Linux and Solaris
Manage all Oracle applications (11i and R12) database administration activities including cloning, code migration, patch analysis/patching and administration
Installation and configuration of Oracle applications release 12
11i to R12 application, database and technology stack upgrades
Configuration -and-amp; maintenance of load balancing and SSL
SSO Integration
EBS cloning production -and-amp; non-production environments
EBS R12 AD utilities
Concurrent manager administration
Install, configure and upgrade Oracle server software and related products in a UNIX environment.
Design, create, maintain and ensure recoverability of Oracle databases in a UNIX environment.
Allocate systems storage and develop plans for future storage requirements.(Capacity planning)
Establish effective database performance monitoring procedures.
Control and monitor user access to databases and maintain database security.
Provide reliable, recoverable and scalable database computing environments to store and integrate company data.
Responsible for 7x24 support of production databases.
Extensive knowledge of underlying Oracle Applications database architectures and concepts.
Extensive hands on experience with Oracle 11gR2 RAC (ASM storage) on EBS R12 environments
Experience with EBS R12 running on Oracle 11gR2 RAC
Extensive experience in SQL tuning and Oracle database performance tuning for the EBS R12 environments
Experience with performance tuning of application and database tier, process and query optimization, troubleshooting of locking issues, resource contention monitoring, analysis of queries, logfiles, trace files.
Expert skills in Oracle database backup and recovery with RMAN
Experience in design and implementation of highly available, scalable Oracle database solutions
Experience utilizing Oracle Enterprise Manager for monitoring and management
Experience managing multi-terabyte databases
Experience working on high-profile, externally facing, large scale projects
Strong UNIX shell scripting experience.
Knowledge of networking and enterprise systems architecture.
Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet project deadlines, and work under pressure.
Excellent communication, customer service and people skills.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, staff and employees.
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
Strong leadership capabilities - especially during problem/crisis situations.

Education: Preferred: Bachelor's, computer Science or equivalent experience
