One Course Source is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Technical Writer/Editor.
This is a full-time, salaried position. We pride ourselves in providing quality hands-on technical Courseware to prepare students for industry certifications, and fulfilling a company's requirements for employee skills and success.
Our Writer/Editors play a critical role in achieving these goals.
Job Description:
Writing and editing course material with the ability to convey difficult concepts in an easily understandable manner.
Employees are also expected to stay current on all pertinent subject matter.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Experience and Qualifications:
-3 + years of IT related experience
-Experience in courseware development a must
-Familiarity Open Source and corporate IT
-Familiarity with RHCE, LPIC, Linux+ and Sun
-Experience with scripting languages (Perl,Python,Ruby,PHP,Java,C++etc.)
-Communication, presentation, and people skills a Plus
-Classroom management skills a Plus
