About Garrett:

Hi there prospective students and parents!

My name is Garrett. I am a california native who has lived all along this beautiful state of ours; from the redwoods of northern California to the sunny beaches of San Diego!

Just a bit about myself:
I attended college at Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA where I studied Politics and Government. During my time at HSU I was involved in my political and community action projects. From repairing our roads and infrastructure to getting sweatshop merchandise banned from our campus, there was always work to be done!

I was the President and founder of the Humboldt State Political Action Club, a student and community organization dedicated to Civic education and Community involvement. It is my humble opinion that having a good solid foundation in Civics and Government is crucial to any profession. I understand that for most whenever 'politics' is mentioned our eyes roll and we think of the people we see on the nightly news; in other words we think borrring! However, this could not be further from the truth! The Art and Science of Politics is an exciting and dynamic field! At any one moment there are countless debates, projects and decisions being made; even at the local level! Times that by about 1000 for state and national government!

With my background and dedication to my field I feel that I am qualified to pass on what I have learned. So if you are struggling with politics or the incredible maze that is our government; please do not wait!
