| The Clean, Green, and Safe Program of the GGHCDC is a resident-driven effort to improve quality of life and provide enhanced services to the community of Greater Golden Hill. Services will include community cleanups, graffiti removal, canyon cleanup, and much more. The Clean, Green, and Safe Associate will work closely with the Project Manager and Executive Director to ensure effective communication with the community and provision of vital community services. Duties may include 1. Act as a point of contact between the community and the Clean, Green, and Safe Program 2. Answer incoming phone calls and e-mails in order to create a list of services to be completed 3. Help create promotional materials such as a newsletter, website, and e-mail blasts 4. Attend special events as a representative of the Clean, Green, and Safe Program of the Golden Hill CDC 5. Support the Project Manager in making the Clean, Green, and Safe Program a success This is an unpaid position. Benefits include hands on experience and unlimited trainings and unlimited trainings from Nonprofit Management Solutions in order to build the skill set and resume of the successful applicant. A commitment of at least six months with a minimum of ten hours per week is required. College credit and opportunities for advancement available. The selection process is competitive, the successful candidate will have the following qualities; 1. Strong written and verbal communication skills 2.
