$18 hour- Accounting Clerk for stable company – San Diego

Accounting Clerk position for direct hire in a beautiful Mission Valley office. Position pays $16-$18 an hour, plus $1000 annual bonus.
-Must have 2-3 years experience in accounting
-Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred, but not required
-Prefer experience in real estate property management
-Must have computer skills, including spreadsheets
-Must have ten key by touch
-Must have customer relations experience

Accounts Receivable- Process daily cash receipts accurately and timely in order to support the quality customer experience, manage companys cash flow and maintain the integrity of the companys financial data.
-Verify checks received
-Prepare bank deposit slip and bag for security service pick-up daily
-Verify charges and accurately apply checks/wire transfers to appropriate resident account by proper charge category
-Prepare a delinquency/detail aging report summary on a monthly basis

Accounts Payable- Code and process accounts payable in order to pay vendors accurately and on time, contribute to the quality customer experience, maintain the integrity of the companys financial data and safeguard the companys financial assets.
-Review payable invoices for completeness in obtaining approvals, coding of invoices with entity, general ledger account and job cost numbers.
-Perform weekly check runs.
-Prepare 1099s annually and mail to vendors. -As assigned, verify vendor certificates of insurance are current, send letters to those who are not.
